As part of the brand’s commitment to contemporary urban living, the hotel’s design including all 137 rooms and suites has been reimagined by Italian designer Paola Navone. Navone’s trademark is a modern sense of place without cultural pastiche. This is achieved through sensitively balancing local materials and a confident, playful contemporaneity using form and colour. Textures are simple, satisfying and luxurious, and come alive in the play of light and shadow.

Bright was fortunate to stay at the Metropolitan Room. This room type features King-size or twin beds with the option to interconnect. The design concept introduces hand-woven natural fibre lanterns, sculptural ceramic details, and a balance of textures and shadows, creating a calm, inviting retreat in the heart of Bangkok.
